மாதர்தம்மை கலிவிருத்தம்

 மாதர்தம்மை மோகமுற்று மாவியந்த நாளுள

மாதர்தம்மை ஏதமென்று மாவெறுத்த நாளுள

வீதிரண்டு மாயையென்றி றைவிசொல்லச் சித்தமே

நாதர்தம்மை யாகங்கொண்ட நாயகிக்க ணின்றதே

 

 

மாதர் தம்மை மோகம் உற்று மா வியந்த நாள் உள

மாதர் தம்மை ஏதம் என்று மா வெறுத்த நாள் உள

ஈது இரண்டும் மாயை என்று இறைவி சொல்லச் சித்தமே

நாதர் தம்மை ஆகம் கொண்ட நாயகிக் கண் நின்றதே

 

There was a time when women appeared as marvelous and attractive, there was also a time when they were thought to be filled with error and hated, but when the Goddess showed these two extremes are but illusions, from then on, the mind has settled down on the Goddess who has taken half the body of Lord (Shiva)
