மாயாகாநீ சீதாமாவா மாகாமாயீ மீனாமாதா
தாமானாமீ யீமாகாமா வாமாதாசீ நீகாயாமா
மா யாகா நீ சீதா மா வாமா காமாயீ மீனா மாதா
தாமா நா மீ ஈ மா காமா வா மா தாசீ நீ காய் ஆமா
பொருள்
மா யாகா - பெரும் வேள்விகளின் வடிவானவளே ,
நீ சீதாமா - நீ தான் சீதாமா வாக வந்தவள்,
வாமா ( அழகி/இடப்பாகத்தவள்) காமாயீ - காமாக்ஷி
மீனா மாதா - மீனாக்ஷி அம்மை
தாமா நா மீ ஈ (தானாகவே வந்து எனக்கு மிகுந்த புலமை ஈந்தவளே/ ஈபவளே)
மா காமா வா - அன்னையாக இருந்து காமனை வா என்று அழைத்து மறுபடியும் வடிவம் ஈன்றவளே ,
மா தாசீ (தச மஹா வித்யை சொரூபம் உடையவளே,
நீ காய் ஆமா ?- இப்பேற்பட்ட பெருமைக்குரிய உன்னை காய் எனலாமோ , இல்லை நீ என்றும் கனி தான் !
Oh Devi, thou art the form of massive yagas(Vedic Sacrifices) you are Seetha Maatha, you are Kamakshi, you are Meenakshi, You are beautiful and occupy the left side of Shiva, you come on your own and grant great command of poetry to us, you acted as a loving mother to Kama and gave back his form, you are of the form of ten maha vidyas, with such exalted features can you be anything but sweet like a fruit?

மாயா - மாயனே ! , கா நீ - காக்கும் தெய்வம் நீ , சீதா - நீரில் இருப்பதால் என்றும் குளுமையானவனே , மா வாமா - மிகவும் அழகானவனே , காமா ஈ - காமனை ஈன்றவனே , மீன் ஆமா - மீனாகவும் ஆமையாகவும் வந்தவனே , தாதா- அனைவருக்கும் தந்தையே , மா நாமீ - மிகுதியான (ஆயிரம்) நாமங்களால் அறியப் படுபவனே, ஈமா காமா - சிவனாக வந்து காமனை அழித்தவனும் நீயன்றோ , வா மா தாசீ - பத்து பிரதான அவதாரங்கள் எடுத்து இவ்வுலகிற்கு வருபவனே , நீ காயம்பூ நிறத்தவன், மா - என்றும் மஹாலக்ஷ்மியைப் பிரியாதவன்
Oh Maya (Krishna) you are the savior , you remain in the sea, so you are always cool, you are the most handsome of forms, you brought forth Manmadha, you came as Matsya and Koorma, you are the father of all, you are known by 1000 names, you came as Shiva who burnt down Manmadha, you have ten major avataras and with it you enact your leela, you are of the color of Neelotpala, and you never are away from Mahalakshmi
