இருளகற்று வெண்பா

 இருளகற்று ஞானத்  திளங்கதிரா கேட்ட 

பொருளளிக்குந் தீராப்  புகழ்மரமா நீங்கா 

தருள்சுரக்கும் வற்றா வமுதே - மருளாளு

மாந்தரக வாழ்வோ மறைப்பு

இருள் அகற்று ஞானத்து இளம் கதிரா - இருளை அகற்றும் ஞான இளஞ்சூரியனாய் விளங்கும் 

கேட்ட பொருள் அளிக்கும் தீரா புகழ் மரமா - கேட்டவற்றை எல்லாம் அள்ளித் தரும் கற்பக மரமாய் விளங்கும் 

நீங்காது அருள் சுரக்கும் வற்றா அமுதே - இடைவிடாது அருள் சுரந்து கொண்டே இருக்கும் வற்றாத அமுதமாகிய இறையே 

மறைப்பு மருள் ஆளும் மாந்தர் அக வாழ்வோ - இவ்வாறாக எல்லாம் நிகரில்லாது இருந்தும் , நீ மருளால் ஆளப் பட்ட மாந்தர்கள் தமது அகத்துள் ஒளிந்து வாழ்கிறாய், இது உன் மறைத்தல் தொழிலின் பொருட்டோ?

You are like the wisdom filled morning sun that removes darkness(ignorance), you grant the desires of the devotees unendingly like kalpa tharu (wish fulfilling celestial tree) and you bestow grace unceasingly like amrith or nectar that knows no end, yet you live hidden in the hearts of the people who are far from grace, is this the manifestation of your hidden aspect?
