மெய்யழகு கலிவிருத்தம்

மெய்யழ கின்மயங்க மெய்யழகு தென்படா
மெய்யழ கின்மயக்கை மெய்யழகே துண்டாக்கு
மெய்யழ கின்மயக்கை மெய்யழகால் வென்றார்க்கு
மெய்யழ கேமயங்கி மெய்யழகென் றாமே

வெண்டளைகளாலான கலி விருத்தம்  

 

 

 மெய் அழ்கில் மயங்க மெய் அழகு தென்படா

மெய் அழகிந் மயக்கை மெய் அழகே துண்டாக்கும்

மெய் அழகின் மயக்கை மெய் அழகால் வென்றார்க்கு

மெய் அழகே மயங்கி மெய் அழகு என்று ஆமே!

 

if we are allured by fleeting outward beauty, the true inner beauty is not seen , the inner beauty destroys the allure for outer beauty, for those who have won over the allure for outer beauty by this understanding, the outer beauty itself morphs into true inner beauty!
