ஊழியூழி கலி விருத்தம்

ஊழியூழி யாழியேந்து காத்துவந்த மூர்த்தியே
நாழிவந்து நகங்கிழித்த சங்கரிக்கு மூர்த்தியே
வாழிவாழி யென்றுபோற்ற ஞானமீயு மூர்த்தியே
யேழைவாழ வுன்னையன்றி யேதுமில்லை பூர்த்தியே

ஊழி ஊழி ஆழி ஏந்து காத்து வந்த மூர்த்தியே

நாழி வந்து நகம் கிழித்த சங்கரிக்கும் மூர்த்தியே

வாழி வாழி என்று போற்ற ஞானம் ஈயும் மூர்த்தியே

ஏழை வாழ உன்னை அன்றி ஏதும் இல்லை பூர்த்தியே

 

you are the form which saves the Jivas in various aeons of time ( Maha Yugas) oh holder of Chakra (Wheel)

you are the form who appears immediately and destroys the enemy with your nails 

you are the form who gives wisdom to your devotees who sing your praises

you are also the only hope for completion of the helpless devotee (myself)
