Vizhi mozhiyum mEnmai vizhaindhu uvandhaar vENdAr 

mozhi mozhiyum mutraa muRai 

Those who understand the greatness of speaking with eyes, and want it and have actually experienced  the joy in it, do not resort to the lesser evloved method of speaking with the mouth

நூல் வழி செப்பல் அரிது

கண்ணின்ற காட்சி மறைவெய்து மெய்தாதே

யுண்ணின்ற தாக்கத் துணர்வு

கண் நின்ற காட்சி மறைவு எய்தும் எய்தாதே 

உள் நின்ற தாக்கத்து உணர்வு
