பரியேழும் வெண்பா

பரியேழும் பூட்டு பரிதியினைப் பார்க்க
விருளாழு மிவ்வுல கேழும் - வரம்பெறுமாம்
ஞாலத் தொளியாளு ஞானத் தொளியாளும்
வேலைக்கண் வெய்யோ னுதித்து

பரி ஏழும் பூட்டு பரிதியினைப் பார்க்க

இருள் ஆழும் இவ் உலகு ஏழும் வரம் பெறூமாம்

ஞாலத்து ஒளி ஆளும் ஞானத்து ஒளி ஆளும்

வேலைக் கண் வெய்யோன் உதித்து 

 

To see the sun that rises with seven horses (in his chariot) all these seven worlds get a boon and awaken from the darkness that has engulfed them, the sun that rises among the seas brings both the light of knowledge and physical light to the universe!
