ஐந்தாறு விருத்தம்

 

ஐந்திலே யொன்றை யடக்கு மைந்தலை யழகுப் பெற்றான்

ஐந்திலே யொன்றை நுதற்கண் அம்சமாய் வெளியே விட்டான்

ஐந்திலே யொன்று சுமக்க ஐந்திலே ஒன்றில் விட்டான்

ஐந்திலே யொன்றைக் காக்க ஐந்திலே ஒன்றிற் பிறந்தான்

ஆறிலே உதித்து வந்தான் ஆறழ கான னத்தான்

ஆறிலே படையாய்க் கொண்டான் ஆறென ஆங்கு நின்றான்

ஆறிலே உணரப் பட்டான் ஆறுத லாங்க ளித்தான்

ஆறிலே உறைய நின்றான் ஈறிலா வழகன் நன்றே

 

 

ஐம்பூதங்களில் ஒன்றான நீரை தனது அழகிய ஐந்து தலையினில் அடக்கியவன் (சிவன்), நெருப்பை நுதற்கண் அம்சமாய் வெளியில் விட்டான், காற்று அதனைச் சுமந்து நீராகிய கங்கையில் விட்டனன், விண்ணோரைக் காக்க மண்ணில் பிறந்தான் (முருகன்)

ஆறில் உதித்து உவந்தான் (கங்கை சரவணப் பொய்கை) ஆறு அழகிய முகங்களைக் கொண்ட சண்முகன், ஆறு படை வீட்டைக் கொண்டான், அங்கு வழியமைக்கத் தன் பத்தர்களுக்காக நின்றான், ஆறெழுத்து மந்திரத்தால் உணரப்பட்டான் அதன் மூலம் ஆறுதல் அளித்தான், ஆறாம் அறிவான மனத்தில் குகனாக ஒளிந்து குடிகொண்டான், முடிவொன்றிலாத அழகன் முருகன் நன்று!

Our of the five elements he restrained one (water, here Ganga)in his five heads (Lord Shiva) , he opened his third eye and unleashed one other element (fire) to be carried on by another element (air) and left into another element (water, Ganges) and his Kumara was born in one of the element (earth) to save another element - the celestials (space)

Kumara was born in the river ( Ganges, Saravanappoigai) with six handsome faces, he took for himself six abodes and stood there to give direction to his devotees, he is perceived by the six syllabled mantra and that gives solace to those who contemplate it, he hid himself as Guha in the sixth intelligence called mind and stayed with us there the handsome formed one without an end!
