தீராக் குறைதீர்க்குஞ் செவ்வே ளிருக்கவிங்
கோரா தவன்புகழை யுற்றபயன் - நேரேது
மில்லாப் பரிதிநமக் கீந்த கொடைவிளங்கா
நில்லா நிழற்றுதிக்கு நேர்

 தீராக் குறை தீர்க்கும் செவ்வேள் இருக்க இங்கு

ஒராது அவன் புகழை உற்ற பயன் - நேர் ஏதும்

இல்லாப் பரிதி நமக்கு ஈந்த கொடை விளங்கா 

நில்லா நிழல் துதிக்கு நேர்  

 பொருள்:=

தீராக் குறையையுங் கூட தீர்க்கும் செவ்வேள் இங்கு இருக்க, அவனது புகழை ஓராது நாம் உற்ற பயன் யாது? நிகரில்லாத கதிரவன் நமக்கு இவ்வுலகில் அனைத்துக் கொடைகளையும் அளிக்கின்றது, இருந்தும் நாம் அதனை மறந்து நில்லாது நிழல்களைத் துதிக்கின்றோம், அது போன்றதாம் !

 Even unsolvable problems are solved by Karthikeya, and he is here to do this for us, yet we do not acknowledge this or understand this and do not try to learn his exploits and praise him, this is comparable with, the peerless sun which provides all the nourishment in this world, but we don't understand that and keep worshiping the shadows rather the source!
