செயலாற் சிறப்புச் சிதைவிலாச் சிந்தை முயலா துயர்வளஞ்சேர் நாடா - வயலார்தம் பண்டேன் படைப்பின்மேற் பாசத்தொ டேக்கமேன் மண்டேன் மணமறிந்து வாழ்
செயலால் சிறப்பு சிதைவு இல்லா சிந்தை முயலாது உயர் வளம் சேர் நாடா! அயலார் தம் பண்டு ஏன் ? படைப்பின் மேல் பாசத்தொடு ஏக்கம் ஏன்? மண் தேன் மணம் அறிந்து வாழ்!
செயலால் சிறப்பும் சிதைவு இல்லாத சிந்தையும் முயலாது இருந்தாலும் உயர் வளங்களை அள்ளி அள்ளிக் கொடுக்கும் பாரத நாட்டவனே! அயலார்தம் அடிமையாக நீ போனது ஏன்? அவர்தம் படைப்பின் மீது பாசமும் ஏக்கமும் ஏன் வந்ததோ? நமது மண்ணின் மணமும் சொந்த ஊரின் தேனின் மணமும் (சிறப்பும்) அறிந்து வாழ்வாயாக !
Oh Bharatheeya! you are from a place which is special by its actions and has an indefatigable thought process and philosophy to support and has such a lot of resources to offer even without undertaking any effort, why have you become a slave to alien country? Why have you a great urge to go behind their creations? Please understand the smell (value) of the local honey ( which you consider as mundane) and live!
