காலைகண்டு மாலைகண்டு மன்றலென்ற மேன்மைசேர்
நீலகண்டன் பாதிவந்து மாலைசூட்டு வண்ணமாய்ச்
வாலைகண்ட சொப்பனத்தை வானுமண்ணு மேத்துமே
மாலை கொண்ட பாவை கண்ட பாவை கண்ட மாலையே
காலை கண்டும் மாலை கண்டும் மன்றல் என்ற மேன்மை சேர்
நீலகண்டன் பாதி வந்து மாலை சூட்டும் வண்ணமாய்
வாலை கண்ட சொப்பன்னத்தை வானும் மண்ணும் ஏத்துமே
தனது உடலில் மாலையை அணிந்த பாவையான ஆண்டாள் கண்ணாடிப் பாவையில் கண்ட திருமாலையே காலையும் மாலையும் கண்டாலும் அது போதாது திருமணம் என்ற மேன்மையைச் செய்ய எண்ணி நீலகண்டனான சிவபெருமானின் பாதியான அந்தரி தனக்கு மாலை சூட்டு அவளது அண்ணனுடன் தனக்கு மணம் முடித்து வைப்பதாக நாச்சியார் ஆண்டாள் கண்ட கனவை (வாரணம் ஆயிரத்தில் உரைத்த படி) வானவரும் மண்ணவரும் ஏத்துவர் (என்றும்)
