மெய்யானை விருத்தம்

 மெய்யானை மூன்று விழியானை

       வேணி மதியானை நதியானைச்  

செய்யானை யால மிடறானை

      நெக்கு மரவானை மழுமானங்

கையானைத் தீயின் வடிவானைக் 

      காம னெரிகண்ட நுதலானை 

வையாளு மாதி னரையானை 

     வாசி யுருவாக விழையாவே 

மெய்யானை மூன்று விழியானை வேணி மதியானை நதியானை

செய்யானை ஆல மிடறானை நெக்கும் அரவானை மழு மான் அம் 

கையானை தீயின் வடிவானை காமன் எரிகண்ட  நுதலானை 

வை ஆளும் மாதின் அரையானை வாசி உருவாக விழை ஆ வே 

மெய்ப்பொருளாக விளங்குபவனை, மூன்று விழியுடையானை , சடையில் மதியும் நதியும் புனைவானை, சிவந்த நிறத்தானை, விஷத்தை மிடற்றில் அடக்கியவனை நெகிழும் பாம்பை ஆபரணமாகத் தரித்தவனை, மழுவும் மானும் தனது அழகிய கரத்தில் கொண்டானை, தீயின் வடிவானவனைக், காமனை எரியூட்ட  நெற்றிக் கண்ணை விழித்தானைப் , புவனேஸ்வரியான அம்பாளின் அரைக் கூறுடையானை, மூச்சின்/காற்றின் உருவாக (அதைப் போன்ற முக்கியத்துவத்துடன்) விழைவாயாக ஓ ஜீவனே !

He who is of the form of truth, with three eyes, who has moon and ganges on his matted locks, who is of a ruddy complexion, who holds the Halahala poison in his throat to help all Jeevas, who wears the slithering serpent as an ornament, who holds deer and axe in his beautiful hands, who is of the form (swaroopa) of Agni, who burnt down Manmadha by opening his third eye, who is half of the form of Devi Bhuvaneshwari, oh Jeevas please view him of the form of breath (as in yoga, or view him as important as breath!)
